Poland - Krakow

We chanced upon a castle surrounded by a moat, Szydlowiec Castle, so stopped for a better look. This Gothic castle was built in the 1400s by Stanisław Szydlowiecki, Castellan of Radom. A procession of wealthy families have lived there since.
